Anti-inflammatory Carrot Juice

This is an ideal daily juice between meals for those with active inflammation such as Psoriasis, Cystitis, Diabetes, Heart disease, Ulcers, Dermatitis, Eczema.

Ingredients

200ml filtered water

50g  natural low fat yogurt

160g,  thick slice of  pineapple

100g, 1 small orange

6g, Ginger, skin-off

200g, 3 organic carrots, skin on

Lightly-blended ingredients

3g 1/2 tsp turmeric

1 teaspoon of flax oil

1/2 lemon, juiced

zest unwaxed lemon

25m, Aloe Vera juice

Method

Add the ingredients to a juicer in the order listed above – as the carrots are the hardest to breakdown in a slow juicer and the liquids help

Blend the protein powder in if you need extra protein (e.g. post illness)

Now add the spice, flax oil and aloe juice and mix the juice using a spoon or lightly blend.  The oil helps the conversion of the cartonoids to Vitamin A.

This made me  600ml  of juice, bottle and refrigerate. Use within 3 days max.
