Grilled Salmon with Greens

Salmon streak on the bone is very tasty and a source of omega 3 fats. Strong flavours  pack a punch to the tastebuds helping to make you feel and satisfied.

Ingredients

120g salmon steak

160g green beans or any seasonal green

10ml extra virgin olive oil

Black Pepper

Tartare Sauce or

1 tsp soy, 1 tsp lime juice, 1 tsp sesame seeds

Method

Drizzle the salmon with lemon/lime and black pepper and grill the salmon steak for 6 minutes on each side. Then lightly brown in the last 2 minutes.

Alternatively, marinade the salmon in the lime juice and soy sauce and grill one side, then pour the marinade over the other side and grill it for 5 to 6 minutes. In the last 1 minute, sprinkle the sesame seeds over the salmon and grill to a light brown. Do not burn the seeds so watch carefully.

Meanwhile, wash the greens ( French beans, asparagus, spinach, chard) and sauté in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil for 1 to 2 mins. Season well.

 

Alternatively, grill a chicken breast or gammon steak.
